Xbox One Video Not Displaying in OneGuide

So, I'm unsure if it's due to the latest update or not because I haven't watched TV/cable on this Xbox in a while.

The issue is, when I start the OneGuide App on my Xbox One X, I can hear the audio for the channel it's on but I get a blank screen. This only happens in the OneGuide App when using the HDMI passthrough. Games and other video streaming apps work just fine.

I've restarted the Xbox (both the quick and the long restart process) and no change. I've also swapped out the HDMI cables and no change. I've "force-quit" the OneGuide app and re-opened it, no change. I've restarted the cable box, no change. I've gone into the settings on the Xbox and verified my video settings are set properly. The one thing I know of that just happened was an update yesterday. But, like I said, I don't know if the video was working prior to that update. I've been playing games, not watching TV. Also, apparently the Minecraft bug has not been resolved on Xbox One X and it still causes the entire Xbox to crash and restart. This happened to me and my daughter 3 times when we were trying to play Minecraft a week ago. I didn't realize it was a known issue until researching after the third time it restarted. I'm not sure if all that crashing has somehow messed with my console (or if it was the update) and now I'm just s#!t out of luck.

I've also tried to use the online support for my device and it was no help, whatsoever. Limited Warranty ended 1/9/2019

Any help in resolving this would be very much appreciated.

    :)

does the xbox remote work with the xbox one x

Yes it will work with the One X Console. The Xbox One Media Remote lets you control video playback for Blu-ray movies and streaming video on Xbox One*. Additionally, there are dedicated Back and OneGuide buttons.
The OneGuide button provides one-touch, quick access to your favorite TV shows and movies through the Xbox program guide

OneGuide "No info available" - Again (fourth time)

If you go to the settings app under general > TV & Display Options> TV & OneGuide > OneGuide > Under the advanced section clear OneGuide and History. If that doesn't work, on the same tab remove the provider under the HDMI, and a USB tabs, then we can
figure OneGuide with your service provider.

OneGuide TV listings missing programme information UK

I'm having the same issue. Oneguide doesn't display any information for certain channels. Clearing Oneguide and History doesn't have any impact. Also, some channels are missing or in the wrong order.
