Xbox One VGA KVM Switch?

Hey, gonna be getting an Xbox One very soon and was a bit curious if I'd be able to find something out there to hookup both my PC and my Xbox One to a single monitor. I didn't own an Xbox 360, but from speaking to a friend he said something about him using
a switch of some kind for his 360 and it worked great. So I guess I'm just curious if this would be possible in some way with the Xbox One. Any help, advice, or info on this would be great as I'd like to possibly be able to pickup this when I get the new console...
or if I need to know ahead of time that I should be looking for another TV/Monitor

How can I connect my Xbox 360 to my PC monitor? PLEASE HELP!

Hey everyone, so I want to connect my xbox to my PC monitor, and I have a KVM switch. A KVM switch allows you to press a button and switch from one computer to another and still use the same monitor. I only have one computer, and I was wondering if I could
use the KVM switch with my xbox? So I can press a button and switch from computer to Xbox, and back. The KVM switch is VGA, so if I get a VGA female to HDMI and plug that into my Xbox will it work and be HD with audio and everything? I don't plan on using
speakers, I have a tritton headset that I use with my xbox. My KVM switch has audio support.

Can someone please help me!? I have no idea how to do this or if it even works...

I found this that converts the vga cable coming from the KVM switch into hdmi that I can plug into the xbox.

In the details section it says it supports 1080p and 720p and everything. But I read somewhere that these adapters are a scam because you can't simply convert a vga to hdmi with one of these :S
