xbox one very slow update

update of xbox one software runs with the speed of 1MB per 2 minutes. How it is possible???

I have internet connection about 40Mbps....

I cannot even cancel this.

Very very slow updates. Very disappointed

Star Wars battlefront has taken 2 weeks, YES 2 WEEKS, to update to 87%. Console updates then Battlefront fails and resets at 0 % . Havnt been able to play for over 3 weeks. Apparently my internet supplier says ive got good connection etc. I dont even want
to play on line. Very very disappointed

Let's start with the basics. Do a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the unit powers down completely. Wait about 5 minutes then restart the console and see if the performance improves. Post back and

Half Dead 360

i was having trouble too so i just turned off and back on the consol and it did start downloading the update (in my case for dead risign 3) it is however very slow. maybe its a big update patch or a slow server or a mix of both. not utterly surprising being
as it IS day one and the servers must be very busy. its not perfect but what is on launch day. other than the very slow update speed everything else is working just fine.

Maybe you can provide us with information on what you have tried so we don't repeat those processes.

Please provide us with your Modem and Router make and model so we can determine if a configuration change may help the situation.

Have you tried a cold reboot of your console ? To do so, unplug your Xbox, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then replug it.
