Xbox One users who bought console a year ago

I'm actually surprised that people think the release was expensive. Compared to all the other console releases I've been through since the playstation one (first one I bought with my own money) I found this release to be quite reasonable.

It's the price of early adoption. The same thing happened to early PS3 buyers before Sony did a big price drop.

 

I got my XB1 with 2 games for $500, so I'm still about evened out. The price decrease for XB1 is the same with most other things, just like if you bought a car, the same car will most likely be cheaper a year later. Businesses have to be able to sell their
items, so sometimes they have to market the items at prices to be able to do so.

 

Yaawwwwwnnnnnn, where does this mentality come from?

 

When the Samsung S5 came out in NZ this year, RRP for that was $1099. I got it last month for $999 from my ISP. So if you think Xbox 1 with Kinect is expensive RRP = NZ$749, there are things more expensive than that. Even in my country, a new PC can easily
cost more than $749 (usually around $900 in my country). And I heard that Microsoft could be selling a standalone Kinect for US$150 for those who change their mind who get a Kinect-less SKU and then later want a Kinect. Yet I don't get why they are complaining
about paying an extra $100 for a console which includes Kinect. I got Xbox 1 day 1, even pre-ordered it, and saved $1, or 100 cents, off the RRP. As for Microsoft, I don't think they're a heartless company who wants $$. The experience being with Xbox since
late 2010 means it's a fun social and secure service and hobby. When I contact support they're friendly. It's not like one of those numbers where you have to pay $1.99+GST/min. They even created an official feedback site. There are pros and cons of getting
it early. Be among the first to be a part of the fun and "in", the downside you pay full or almost full RRP for it.

 

Yeah I have to agree. I expected the price to go down after a year and I knew it would happen. Sales aren't crazy high right now for Xbox Ones. Not everyone can afford $400 that we paid for our Xbox Ones dude. I got my Xbox One at the midnight release for
over $399.99 and I too have played a good amount of games since than. So I have no complaints either. EXCEPT for the fact that I jjust got BANNED AGAIN after some KID just up'd and decided to ban me after he cursed me out an i responded saying he needed medication.
Next day, next thing i knew it I'm banned, for the SECOND time. My first ban was for 24 hours, which was random. this time i knew it was from ONE person. Because i have not messaged anyone or said anything wrong in party chat. How can someone be banned from
one moron reporting them. I've had Xbox 360 since 2007 and I've never ever been banned on Xbox 360. Not once. On Xbox One I get banned TWICE in one week. What the F**K Microsoft.

you cannot be banned form one person. My friend was playing destiny last night and for no reason got hate mailed by some kid and reported by him and his friend. and he's still in green reputation and not banned. If you get banned, its because you deserved
it

 

You got to play it for a year. I didn't buy the One at launch. I actually bought it recently. And now the price dropped. You don't see me crying about it.

 

I think we get the idea with this one.
