    Hi,

We had error that there was problem updating for Season6, so followed all the instructions from website recommended:
Xbox One System Updates | Offline System Updates .

However, after all the time and effort taken to do 5gb system update using usb still same error. So, we just uninstalled fortnite and re-installed. 10min. Works fine now.

    Good luck!

How do I fix my game crashing I’ve tried everything

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Xbox and Fortnite. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Clear the cache of your Xbox One console: To do this, press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it completely shuts down. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console and wait for a few minutes. Plug the power cable back in and turn on the console.

    2. Delete and reinstall Fortnite: Press the Xbox button on the controller and navigate to My games & apps > Games > Fortnite. Select Options and choose Uninstall. Once it's uninstalled, go to the Microsoft Store, search for Fortnite and install it again.

    3. Check for updates: Make sure both your Xbox One and Fortnite are up to date. To check for Xbox One updates, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update available and follow the on-screen prompts. To check for Fortnite updates, launch the game and go to Settings > Update and download.

    4. Factory reset your Xbox One: This should be a last resort if none of the above steps work. Go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and keep my games & apps. This will erase all your settings and data, but your games and apps will remain installed.

If none of these steps work, you might want to consider contacting Xbox support again or taking your console to a professional technician for repair.
