    This morning I got up and like every Tuesday I put my consult on standby mode because I knew there would be a lot of updates today. And of course I was right. I’ve had updates for 10 games in all today:

    Just to name a few: - COD MW / 18Gb - PUBG / 20Gb - R6 siege / 44 Gb - Destiny 2 / 6Gb - Forza Horizon 4 / 3GB - Doom Eternal preload / 45Gb - Gears5 - Jedi fallen order - Rocket league - Ori and the will of the wisps

    I put my console on standby this morning at 6 AM. I just got home now at 6:33 PM, a full 12 hours later, and half of my installations have “stopped” to have another one start. I have four installation stopped messages. This is becoming a huge problem...

    Why can’t the installation just finish before moving onto the next one? I often get these installation stopped messages and my connection stable, and is wired directly into the console. I have 70down/20up.

    This happens very often when the Xbox is on standby. But it also happens when the console is on for some reason and installations will just stop and it’ll move onto the next game.

    Potential Solution:

    • Give us the ability to queue and manage downloads from the app in real time when console is on standby.

    Why do I have the ability for the Game Pass games but not my normal games?

    Honestly Xbox, fix this problem because I’m fed up of downloading 120 gigs and having it stop midway through because your system is broken.

    Oh and how about you don’t release all the updates on the same day so that when I get home I can actually use my god damn console.

    Afraid that did not work. I tried it both before and after completing a console update as well (console update worked fine).

    Also, to be clear, the *installation* of Netflix will not complete. I cannot run the app because the installation always stops with 85.10 MB of 85.96 MB completed and then generates the error message I cited above.

    Hey guys just updating: finally my download was completed. Just after the download completion, I've turned off my Xbox in energy saving mode and turned on just to see what would happen. When Xbox dashboard loaded, the message "INSTALLATION STOPPED" appeared.
    So I removed ethernet cable and plugged it again and everything was fine, the game finally was installed. And now the update is about 23%.

    If you reset the console or stop an update, it will delete the install as its been corrrupted by the update not completing.
