Xbox One updated and now needs internet connection to play

hello i have a xbox one x and unfortunately do not have the internet, well i recently took my system to work to update it and now i cannot play any games without an internet connection when before i was able to play at least 4 games without an internet
connection and now i cannot play anything but local movies, i guess my question is are we forced to now have an internet connection to play any game on the xbox??

You’ll need to make sure you’ve got the console set so that it is YOUR Accounts home console, then you will be able to play some games which support offline mode, you will also need to set the Xbox into offline Mode as well, you can do that Via Settings.

Once you have the console set to 'Offline' mode you will be able to play disc based games. However for digital download games, you will need an internet connection.

Mmm puede que el problema ya sea el juego que hora es necesario que tenga la conexión o en su defecto que tenga una actualización pendiente, checa que no sea ese el problema o menciona el juego que quieres jugar

as long as that is your home console

or that you have the physical game.
