Xbox one update

I have had my xbox one update without even opting in or out of this pathetic update! i pay £40 to play and talk with friends and play with friends! not for you to dictate what i can and can not do! you have *** up my party chat and gaming experience is there
any way to revert! if not id like some details to take it further

Same issue today. Both consoles were updated. Then, when trying to party up to play FIFA we went into a party invite cycle. For myself and my neighbor, when we sent invites it opened party chat but neither could join. When we went to accept it sent us to
a new party. We were never able to connect. Could still use game chat but obviously I am not the only one with this problem. Would like to know why I spent $500.00 ?

 

I spent two hours trying to chat with my friends! I did not spend $500 just to be annoyed by not being able to chat with them regardless of how I reset my xbox one! Very frustrating!

 

For those that cannot get it try this. As this worked for me

In Settings - Power & Start up Switch Xbox Power Mode to Energy-Saving mode, unchecking all three options below. Turn Xbox off and wait a few minutes. Turn Xbox on, once dashboard is ready, go to settings. Switch Xbox back to Instant-On mode, rechecking
all but Quickly resume games. Turn off your Xbox and wait about ten minutes. Then you should see the power button to start flas and then when you switch back on it should display the update bar.

Hopefully this works for the rest of you guys.
