Xbox one update weekly

just wondering if anyone knows why my xbox one needs to update every Monday for almost a month so far. The updates are usually 240-250mb updates. Also I am part of the preview program. in the console info it last updated on 17/11/2014 (today) but the last
automatic update check apparently happened on the 20/2/2014(February). Any help or info would be much appreciate.

Is it me or are we getting weekly updates!

Is there a listing of updates, when they were release and versions?

I am just hoping that my Xbox one is not broken and continually updating.

If you're in the Preview, that's what they are. It sounds like Mondays are when the updates become 'mandatory' so you get forced to take the update. However, if you go check System Settings you can take the updates manually as soon as they are available.

Since "Note: Bug fixes/Patches are released every week along with the Weekly Challenge and Spartan Ops Episode. Do hope that the following weekly updates could resolve your issues.", I for one cannot get access to the bug fixes and updates, since it is
impossible to play or install the game, due to the campaign does not start/disc unreadable error.

There is usually an xbox one system update that either adds new features or fixes bugs. For individual games there can be monthly or even weekly updates depending on how much the developers support the game and sometimes there can even be daily updates
for a game. Those are somewhat rare and are small in size.

Being removed from the program is likely to reset the console and wipe the hard drive. If you have an external hard drive with the console just move all your content to that and it will not get wiped or you could alternately wait until this update gets launched
to everyone and then remove the console from the program.
