Xbox One Update Suggestions: Avatars, Custom Art, and Hangout!

So, there's a new update coming out for Avatars for Windows 10 XBOX App. I posted a similar thread to this last year that got a small group of people interested in the idea. But that thread is so old that no one will remember it. I was thinking.. Why can't
Microsoft make an Avatar marketplace like the Xbos 360 one? With the same music, X360/XB1 game-themed things like the past. I think I'm the only one who wants this to happen. Currently on Xbox One, the only way you can buy stuff for your avatar is through
Internet Explorer and it's not an easy process. Custom Art was also on one of my century-long threads. When I mean custom art, I mean we can make our own gamer pics, dashboard wallpapers and other things. It would be cool! We can truly express ourselves and
if something inappropriate is drawn there should be a system where Microsoft Security checks it to be okay. Hangout? What, kid? Yeah, you heard me right. Another reason for using avatars would be a hangout. On Playstation and PC browser games there are handouts
where you can own a house, make friends, and everything. Meaning if you needed a group for your game to help you with something or make friends over interests! Not only that. your avatars can own many props and properties around this planet of XLand or Boxland...
Heh-heh. It would he cool. Then you can buy furniture for your house and pets?!! It would be interactive. Not only one city but there would be many places themed on games, movies, and other things. Hopefully you liked this idea. I want Microsoft to see these
because I wanna bring Avatars back to Xbox due to nostalgia.

Shoot I may be having that same kind of weekend! Sounds like a party hangout will be in play that day. Tomb raider and a movie night! What!

You guys remember when we could watch our movies in a small movie theater setting border with our avatars hanging out in the seats. Way old school xbox memories!

 

Wouldn't the feedback section be a better place for idea's such as these?

uuuurgh avatars.. they need to be gone. what a waste of development time

 

I would like the Avatar Store back and Xbox 1 to have all the stuff that Xbox 360 Avatar Editor has. I also like avatars to be on the Friends tab rather than be locked up in some Windows 8 Avatar app. Xbox 360's Social tab incorporates your avatar. And make
a chatpad rather than using a U-S-B--k-e-y-b-o-a-r-d or smartglass. Thank goodness avatars was at least a Day One Xbox Live Feature on Xbox 1. They represent users of the Xbox Live service to have a 3D avatar rather than just a 2D gamer picture and text.

 

I'm with iBakez on this,not a fan of avatars & personally don't want them on the xbox one but they are there & getting an update I believe,uuurgh x2

 

I'm with Bakez and Badger. What a waste of time and resources avatars are.

 

Hello everyone

I am a fan of the Avatar being on the Dashboard and I hope for those of you that don't like it that there will be an option to turn them off, because it isn't right that people who hate the avatars will be to deal with them on their Dashboard

Sorry for not replying to this post, my grandfather died yesterday and I was busy for the past week. Anyways, for all the people saying that I should put it in the feedback forums; I will, I just thought that I would get more attention. For the ones who
don't like Avatars.. I believe that it's a cool thing for some people and some people don't like the idea. I just wanna play around with my avatar by changing his clothes.. Constantly. Lol.. No but seriously I know that people don't actually like the avatar
idea because they find it as a waste of money, time, and power but I find it entertaining to dress my character and make new gamer pics. - Ultra.

 

Sorry about your grandfather, you have my sympathy.
