    I have tried everything the sys reboot the offline update witch also stops at 66% on step 3 nothing has gotten me past 66% of step 3 I have held the eject and sync buttons to bring up the menu that allows it to factory reset or offline update I have tried it all nothing is working

    If I may ask, have you also tried to reset it removing everything? That will be the last resort.

    Xbox One froze whilst updating today

    same here the summer update went to 66% with online update and stopped. Shut the system down and was left with the green screen. Did the steps for offline update and again it got stuck on 66%. I've had all xbox systems and have been a loyal xbox user,
    but this Xbox one is crap and Microsoft company is even more crap. PS4 here I come.

    Xbox one froze on startup. I’ve reset and power cycled it. I’ve downloaded the offline update and gone through that process. It keeps getting stuck 66% of step 3 or 88% of entire update. What else can be done???

    Its been stuck like this for nearly 24 hours and still no progress and i done a hard restart and I turned it off and unplugged it for a couple of hours and it keeps on getting stuck at 66%/86%. I NEED HELP PLS.

    So my Xbox one is frozen on the update screen 66% updated. I let it sit for 2 days then i. Download the update manually for a offline update. It updated just fine once all the way to 100% then it started to update again then it stopped at 66% again. Any
    ideas before i download the factory reset program?
