Xbox one update/startup problem

    Xbox one update/startup problem


    My xbox one console could not update this morning. The error code I was getting was 0x80070003 which is something to do with user profiles. I followed the instructions on the support website. I cleared space on the hard drive, temporarily deleted my profile
    and cleared the system cache. This had no effect. I then attempted an offline system update using the OSU1 file from the support website. It only loaded 5 percent before stopping, saying there is a startup error and displaying an error code, E101 The last
    numbers of this error code were once again 80070003. I'm unsure how to proceed from this point. Any help would be appreciated.

    hi,

    have you tried running through the startup troubleshooter

    Xbox One Startup Error | Xbox System Update Error

    usually startup errors like this will require a console reset or the use of the offline update tools

    This could be a hardware problem or a software problem, and I'm leaning towards a software problem.

    Please go to this page
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution     and select the option "I Need to Troubleshoot A System Update Error" Then your console version, then "I Am Experienceing A Startup Issue". Then "Black Screen". Follow the instructions.

    1. Go to the Xbox One startup error troubleshooter.
    2. Scroll down the screen and select E203.
    3. Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.

    When you did the USB OSU (offline system update) did you disconnect the wired ethernet cable that is connected to your gateway/router or are you using WiFi?
