Xbox One Update October 2018 Issues

After the most recent update, my Xbox won't download any system apps (i.e. Microsoft Store, Microsoft Rewards, the new Avatar app, OneDrive, etc.). However, I can still download and update any games I have. Trust me, I've disconnected from and reset the
WiFi, hard reset the Xbox, tried a different network, but nothing is helping. I've never had this problem before, and as I said it has only affected the apps, not games. I would greatly appreciate some assistance.

Forza Horizon 4 will not show my Club which I created

Hey VenoXj,

Unfortunately joining and creating clubs for Forza Horizon 4 on the Xbox App on Windows 10 or in-game when playing on the PC is a known issue that has been addressed by the developers.

As of right now, we just need to wait until the developers push out a patch/fix for this. It does not seem to be affecting users on the Xbox One all too much, just users on PC using the Xbox App.

I hope this gets resolved quickly as others out there are experiencing the same problem.

Does the October 2018 Xbone update throttle (decrease) upload bandwidth?

Here is a link for what was updated in the
October Update. Far as I can see, nothing with internet settings was touched. It could be a bug that the update created. You can also report it going to Xbox insider hub app and report a problem.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Is this console enrolled in the

Xbox Insider program? This issue could be due to the update not applying itself to the console correctly. We recommend doing

a soft factory reset. This will allow the console to apply the update again. This is the type of factory reset that keeps all games and applications installed on the console. All accounts on the console will be removed. The email addresses and passwords
of those accounts must be known. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

Yes it was enrolled but I needed to unenroll for the time being, perhaps it messed up in the process. I'll try that right now, thank you!

 

Unfortunately, it did not help, I'm still having the same issues. Maybe it'll fix itself when a new update comes around.

Thanks for your response, have you attempted an
Offline System Update? This can allow you to load a fresh working copy of the OS to your system and should relieve the console from issues.
