    Xbox One update issue


    When I do the xbox one update it takes very long and downloads slowly eventually it says there was a problem. I went to the update support page and tried everything. Is there something that is causing this? Any help is appreciated

    New Xbox One System Update Goes Live Today

    The article also when on to note that those with the "Instant On" feature enabled will be first to get the update since it will roll out in waves. Everyone else will received it by Thursday 12/12/13. I for one am very happy to see Microsoft quickly begin to fix the many small issues or bug currently found on the Xbox One. We can only hope they continue to be persistent and hasten.

    First of all, a question for you.. Do game updates take a long time as well, or just console updates?

    If all updates are slow, it could have something to do with your router/modem settings restricting bandwidth to your Xbox One. To find out for sure, visit here:

    forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx     and see if that helps. Another factor could be a problem with your ISP. Their uplink might be having some troubles.

    On the other hand, if it is only console updates that are painfully slow, it could be a Xbox Live issue. There might be something causing conflicts within the servers.. There might be a lot of people trying to update at the same time.

    Let us know how you get on with the latest update.

    Hi there!

    When the system update fails does it give you an error code and says something went wrong or does it simply say there was a problem with an update? If it gave you an error code then you can select a tile that says Troubleshoot and you can soft factory reset
    your Xbox from there.

    If it says there was a problem with the update, then there usually is an internet connection issue.

    Follow this system update solution guide that will walk you through the issue you are experiencing and will offer some solution:
