    Xbox One Update Fails While Verifying.


    My Xbox One hasn't been used since 2018 so I dug it out of my closet and hooked it back up.

    It was working fine so I decided to update it via USB offline. The update loads then gets to around 67% verified before throwing an error code.

    I'm currently redownloading the OSU1 file.

    I think it was corrupted while downloading, the download failed and resumed 3 times or so. Just in case it still doesn't work I'm posting here so I can get some advice.



    Edit: once it finishes downloading I'll let you know the error code, granted it doesn't work again.

    Got the codes. 106 while starting then 101 when verifying.

    Why did Halo MCC uninstall its self on my PC???

    does on xbox a lot of the time, but i have had it happen with forza 3 and 4 on pc and halo mcc, so i gave up and bought on steam as steam can verify files and i never get a failed update.

    It doesnt help that alot of the games are in vxd format (virtual xbox disc) and basically is an image.

    but i think halo mcc is just files but in the encrypted folders, i dont think windows can verify the files if the update fails.
