    Xbox One Update fails when using Mediacom


    For the second time, I can't successfully update my Xbox One. I get error code 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x90070007. Error occurs during verifying update and also when I attempt to download and then unzip the OSU1 file.
    Last time I was able to successfully update via downloading and unzipping the OSU1 update from another service provider. I am a Mediacom customer. Does anyone else have this issue and recommendations?

    LIVE connection error - ongoing for the past 3 hours

    I am also in Iowa (Iowa City) using mediacom and cannot connect to the xbox live servers. A tech at mediacom told me that they were having an issue with packet loss in the data transfer process and so their servers were unable to sustain a connection to
    the xbox live servers. Other websites appear to function ok though. It is mediacom that has the problem, not microsoft..

    I am having the very exact same problem. I am also a mediacom customer.

    Looks like we got a connection guys. I thought it was my router but my Mediacom went out this morning and when it came back up my Xbox wont connect to LIVE. So I guess its a mediacom issue, in which case it will take them 3 months to get it going again

    It is a known issue with Mediacom at the moment. Just hang in there and maybe check mediacoms forums for help.. you could also try contacting mediacom support.

    These kind of issues are temporary so dont worry about it.

    Mine is the same as well. my xbox one buffers at least once every minute. I watch my Netflix on my computer my iPad or my iPhone without any buffering, zero, nada however my xbox one FAIL. JUST LIKE IT HAS FAILED WITH 3d blue rays which my old ps 3 could
    play. It is also incompatible with my Mediacom reciever. When I hit guide it will not respond to anything unless I say xbox select or xbox one guide, at that time it will let me type in the channel or select a different one. I feel xbox one is a huge failure
    if you use it as a home media hub like it was designed for if you are 12 and have it in your bedroom it might be ok. However I am not 12 and I think Microsoft have provided a big flop/ pice of crap and owe me my moey back. .........
