    Xbox One update error


    Hi all

    I'm trying to update my console but I keep getting an error message saying "there was a problem with the update". Turns out it's because I'm not connected to the internet but every time I choose the check network connection, it's says it's all good. I tried
    connecting to my router from scratch but the update prompt keeps popping up before I even get a chance to try and connect to my router

    Does anyone know of a way around this? I'm trying to get my Xbox connected to my router wirelessly but the prompt is preventing me every time

    XB1 failing to update

    If it won't update return it. Are you waiting long enough? Does it give you an error code? If you get an error code post it, if you aren't getting one wait longer.

    Usually, this error occur upon startup or during OS updates. Basically, this error message indicate there is an issue with your Xbox One S system update process. To fix the E102 error, you need to update your console
    offline.
