    Xbox One Update 11/30/2020 Removed External Hard-drive


    I went to go turn on my Xbox One and it was updating, when it finished updating my external hard-drive was gone. It was working 2 hours before the update, and now it's completely disappeared. Never had a problem with it until this update. I tried resetting
    my console, turning everything off and unplugging it, changing ports, I've tried everything. Has this happened to anyone else? Or does anyone have any ideas or fixes.

    Please send any help or information about this.

    Hey Gnu (nice GT!). Since you have a USB handy, I'm wondering if you've tried updating with the hard drive removed. The steps for uninstalling the external hard drive are over here: Install

    Sometimes the system can be a bit of a hassle. If you have another External Hard Drive, remove the one connected to your Xbox and then add that one and see if the console can be updated then.
