Xbox One: Unstable? Laggy? Unreliable

Heya team

From day one my xbox has been on the slow side compared to others (friends at LAN parties etc) and iv had various small issues with it.

A couple months back my xbox wouldnt turn on for acouple weeks, stuck on loading screen, and error screens would flash (too quick for me to read). When i went to send it in i turned it on for one last chance and she worked. But games wouldnt play and the
icons where glitchy (loading and missing parts). It slowly came right to a playable state and i was informed to keep playing until it faults.

A few weeks ago thanks to xbox support they helped me fix some online issues ie hard resetting the xbox, alternate MAC address and also unistalling my profile. It fixed party chat problems and general xbox online issues. (Bravo for that xbox thank you)

But now im having laggy issues with the home screen (minor but still there) big gittery issues with BO3 and Halo Reach. Its like im a constantly a second behind when it gets bad. Doesnt spike just is constantly there. If i go play another xbox one it feels
smooth compared. Games i can enter look like minecraft or something of the sorts as im playing the game seems to render the images

Sorry about the novel but does anyone have any advise for me?? Id love a new one that works. Hell id even pay extra to get a higher performing one like the elite!

Can't understand why I can't login to live on my xbo, my xbox 360 can!! But I haven't got cod aw for my 360 ffs!!!!! And also why can my freinds sign in on xbo and I cant?) they only live about 2 minutes away from me!!!!!

Thanks for the support message.

First off, how is your console plugged in? Lets make sure we have the console plugged directly into a wall outlet, no surge protectors or extension cords. Next, have you checked the console for updates by going to Settings>System>Console info & Updates?
If not, go ahead and give that a go!

If you are STILL experiencing these issues, have you ever restored the console to factory defaults? Sometimes it may be inconvenient with having to re-install all the games, but 9/10 times it fixes the issue with that. So you may want to give that some
thought.

I have tried all of the above except the factory default... Ill give that a go and see how i get on.

 

@iNb4Ownage No luck. Just jumped on Black ops again and its like im trying to play a new game on a pc 4-5 generations difference. Im sick of it, and want a fix but im threatened by sending my xbox away and being charged if its something not under warranty
Ill be hefted with a bill i cannot pay.

 

Are all your games lagging or is it just Black Ops 3? I have read where there are quite a few that experience lag on that game from time to time.

 

Also, test your network and let us know what you are seeing there.

Thanks for getting back to me about the issue you're experiencing.

Please head over to Settings>Network>Network Settings and select "Test network Connection" If that says "It's all good!" scroll down to "Test Multiplayer Connection" and then if that also says "It's all good!" scroll down to "Detailed Network Statistics"
and let me know your Download, Upload, Latency, MTU, Packet Loss, and if you're wireless, your wireless strength as well.

Hi team, yes iv done this time and time again everything is good. I have only tried BO3 recently but it feels like it's the Xbox itself. Loading times are slowerror than others. I can go into games and it's not even rendered yet. Just big blobs of color
for cars etc. Menus seem to be leggy but will check over the next few days. I might try get a video or two of it
