    Xbox One unresponsive after preview update


    My Xbox One notified me that it needed to update while I was in the middle of using Netflix. My choices were to update or go offline (and not continue using Netflix). So I selected update. I don't know the full build but it was a preview build going from
    OS version ....001 to ....004 and was a little over 500MB. The update failed and the Xbox gave me the option to try again, check connection, restart, etc. I checked the connection which was good. I restarted using the restart option. Now the XBox boots but
    I can't do anything. As soon as I touch anything on the controller, the screen dims and the system becomes unresponsive. That's it. Hard reboot, same thing, screen dims, unresponsive. Help!

    Have You Ever Had To Do A Hard Reset?

    I've had to do 2. The first for an unresponsive controller. The second was in relation to the Update preview.

    Xbox One unresponsive after preview update

    I've had time to just allow the Xbox to sit on the dashboard, unresponsive. to the controller.

    It eventually shows me the below screen and the controller then works, but I'm not getting anywhere resolving the issue.

    First screen

    Error code: 0x8923000E 0x00000000 0x00000202

    [Try again] [check network] [skip and stay offline] [turn off xbox]

    Trying again has failed multiple times. Checking the network doesn't do anything. Skip and stay offline takes me to the dashboard where the screen dims again and becomes unresponsive again. Turn off isn't a solution. Turning back on just restarts the
    cycle of dim screen and unresponsive dashboard.

    Holding both triggers and bumpers shows me this screen:
