    Xbox One: Unreadable Game Discs


    I have been having a problem with my Xbox one Console for some time now, and I have tried every single way to fix my Xbox One Disc Drive being unable to read the Game Discs I put into the console... It reads the discs however it just won't show up on the home menu to download the stuff on the disc...

    If any knows a way I can fix this problem please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated!

    (Forgot to mention and no, my discs are not dirty, and don't have scratches on them...)

    The reason it seems to be working when playing from the disc is that your xbox hasn't had any reason to access the data in the damaged part of the disc yet. When it does need to you will get a disc unreadable error or the game will freeze.

    When installing it needs to access the whole disc which is why it always fails.

    And to answer your question it will say disc unreadable at some point when the game needs to access the damaged part of the disc.

    As you've already tried one of those disc repair services then your best option is to get a new disc.
