Xbox one uninstall games

I had to stop playing my xbox one for one month and now, when a finaly had time to play my Assassins Black Flag i discover that it had to reinstall the whole game. So i try my other games and the same had the same issue with Rise and Dead Rising. It this
normal? Does XBOX uninstall games by self?

Now i have to wait another 2 hours to play Assassins.

I only found this out when I was trying to uninstall Battlefield 4 as I knew it was a massive install on the HDD

Simply head over to 'My Games and Apps' then click right to select the game you want to uninstall, select the home button on your controller then hit uninstall

I waited two hours and is still installing. Actually it's been seven hours and nothing. I have the console since launch and knew he had problems, just did not think I'd regret as soon not have bought a ps4.

 

Are your games installing from scratch or from a certain percentage?

Some of the Xbox One games have had updates recently. These updates are quite large. I don't have any information about how big the assassins Creed update was, but Dead Rising 3's latest update is 13GB. If you have not set your console to 'Instant on' in
the power settings, these updates can only be applied when you start your game.

When your game is updating, it will show as 'Installing'. As I understand it, in the case of DR3, the 13GB update replaces parts of the original files installed from the game Blu-ray or the digital download. It does not add another 13GB to the game install
size. When a game is being updated, the actual install percentage will decrease to begin, and then increase as the download progresses. This is perfectly normal behaviour.

The time your game takes to reach 100% during an update will entirely depend on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the download. I hope that makes sense. If you set your console power option to 'Instant on', your games will update while
the console is in a low power 'off' mode. So most games will update overnight.

May I also point out, the game update sizes are the same on the PS4 console.
