Xbox one UK losing television signal on Sky satellite platform

I have had my SKY HD (BSKYB) box running through the HDMI input port on my Xbox one and just lately when I change channels it says we have lost your TV signal? if I run it direct to my TV it does not lose the signal ever??? Is this a faulty HDMI input port
or a software issue? I thought Xbox one was made to be the centre of your entertainment hub? Are Microsoft looking into this? as I have already had a replacement Kinect as the original one kept turning off! I am beginning to lose faith!

I'm not in UK but I did notice when I ran my satellite provider(directv US) through the xbox one that there was a very noticeable drop in picture quality.

I think I have a similar problem.

In the UK; Sky satellite receiver connected to the One. When opening TV (app), the screen is blank/black.

Noticed that the Sky receiver goes into standby (red led, rather than green). Switching it on does not rectify the problem. I don't know whether this is the receiver or Xbox.

 

Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the problem.

 

I have had a similar problem for a while now, when I first turn on my xbox, when I go to tv after playing a game or sometimes just switching channels I get the screen that says lost your tv signal for about 10 secs. Hard reset doesnt help but switching my
sky box to standby and back on sorts it temporarily. Can you help?

 

I have tried 3 different Xbox one console and two sky he boxes over the last 6 weeks and still the problem persists. Microsoft support says sky hd box isn't compatible with Xbox one and have no solution to fix the issue. False advertising from Microsoft
as this is not the all in one console experience they promote.

 

I also have my Sky HD box running through my xbox one. I have the same problem. I've noticed that I when switching between HD channels it is fine, but when I switch from a HD channel to an SD channel I lose signal for about 10-15 seconds. This happens every
time and is very frustrating. I have tried switching the resolution output on my sky box for 'automatic' to 1080i, and even 720p, and makes no difference. Any suggestions???

 

... UPDATE... I've just switched the picture settings on the XB1 from 60Hz to 50Hz, seems to have solved the problem. Hope this helps

I also have this problem when switching from a HD to SD channel on a Sky box the TV app loses signal for a while. I can confirm that shutting down the Xbox or changing from 60Hz to 50Hz does not fix the problem.

Also I think this problem started when version 6.2.11511.0 was rolled out.

 

Same here, around a 15sec delay. Also when going from game to tv.

 

Getting the same here, plus the xb1 seems to lose its network connection wired or wireless, I'm going to stop using inline with Sky box and just have it as a games console on a spare hdmi... Flaky
