Xbox one: UFO.Transfer Open in file explore gives 0x80070490 error

Note: file explore isnt in my all apps section as installed nor ready to install.

if i go to edge -> settings -> downloads browse it just spins forever.

They suggest factory reset:

I tried reset with keep apps and data option.

That fixed it!

when I go onto ufo.transfer and I click "open in file explorer", it says "We no longer support File Explorer. (0x87e10006)". does this mean I can't use this app anymore for what I want to do? if so, what is a good app alternative? I want to import

Making a New Local Account on Windows

Creating a new local account on Windows can fix the problem of error code 0x80070490.

Open up the user information in the Windows panel. Create a new account using the administrator

Move all the documents and important files to the new account. Disable or delete your old account and switch to the new one on Windows.

Then add your Microsoft account to it through Windows.

Doing this will fix the error code 0x80070490.

You may want to try clearing the MAC address. To do that just go to your network settings, click advanced network settings, alternate MAC address, select clear, then reset. Your console will restart at that point.
