    Xbox one twitch voice auido


    I have recently upgraded my internet and can now stream from my Xbox one to twitch. I have a webcam and Xbox mic to use for video and audio. I did a test Stream and everything is working perfectly. I ran into a small problem though when I went to play Multiplayer in wreckfest. My Xbox mic was broadcasting into the in game voice chat as well as my twitch stream. If I press mute on the mic it's going to mute me in game and on stream which I don't want. I thought of a workaround which would be to create a party with just me in it. This way I can have my mic on but not be heard in the game chat. Unfortunately this completely mutes my game audio. If I set the party to in game chat I can hear the game again but now I'm being broadcasted into the game chat. I don't know why I have to pick between party chat audio or game audio. I just assumed I could keep my mic for twitch only and be annoying other players in the game chat. Is there any work around for this?

    usually in the game settings menu you should have an option available to disable the microphone within the game, That would be the option to do it as you mentioned, however not all games have this option, in these cases the only way would be through Xbox party

    If you really want to solve it you would have to acquire a capture card to be able to divide the audio properly, or stream from your console to your PC through Xbox Streaming

    to change your twitch broadcast settings.

    • go into the Twitch app on your Xbox One.
    • Click on the broadcast tap.
    • that will show you your broadcast settings.

    Under auido not in settings and see if use headset as Mic is on if it is off turn it on
