Xbox One twitch app question

Hey all. This may be the completely wrong forum section, but if it is, please move my thread to a more appropriate section.

So, I was curious if there is a way to make your Xboner show Twitch chat without actually streaming with it? It'd be a FANTASTIC tool for us streamers, so that we don't need a laptop or 2nd screen nearby to view twitch chat. Especially me, since I struggle
with my eyesight, it would help immensely.

So, is there a workaround for this or is there going to be a potential fix for this in the future?

Record/broadcast gameplay

Basics:

xbox one, Twitch app, twitch account, Game DVR app..

Or look for Roxio game captures..

Does Anyone Broadcast on Twitch?

Oh well. I guess no one can answer my question. Everyone must use Twitch directly from the Xbox App then. I misspoke previously, the bit rate that was recommended had me stream in 480 P.

there is an option to show the chat on screen while broadcasting.. but twitch will need to snapped.. making your playable surface smaller...

Noooo. Let me explain it better.

I stream with my Elgato, obviously that means no Xbone twitch app streaming... HOWEVER, this also means I can't view the Twitch chat straight from my game screen...which sucks.-

I was just curious if there were any plans to make your own twitch chat viewable via the app without streaming from the app?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. You can view the guide for

Twitch app. At the bottom of the page it has a link for Twitch help. Also try uninstall app, power off the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Wait 30 seconds when the console is off then turn on and install the app again.

I am having the same issue. Twitch keeps sending me a successful login, but it just spins on the Xbox app. Neither Twitch nor Xbox shows the accounts as linked. The trouble shooting doesn't seem to have an answer to this question
