Xbox one TV now has static

just put on my xbox one today and i noticed audio static while watching TV, I changed the channel and I hear the same thing through my reciever and my TV through HDMI audio. I hard booted my Xbox one and it still sounds the same, anyone else have this
problem? I also changed all the cables and the Cable setbox, same thing

Crackly Audio from Xbox One TV

hi all, has anyone encountered crackly or static-y audio when watching television thru the xbox one? I didn't have the issue at all when plugged directly to my TV but once it's routed thru the Xbox One it comes out sounding really bad at times.

Help?!

 

Xboz one click noise

when i turn my xbox one on it makes. Click noise and static noise. Also my tv is black when everything is connected to my xbox one.

 

I'm having the same problem. I noticed it yesterday and did some troubleshooting today. First, my setup. I have a Comcast Xfinity Box connected to the Xbox through HDMI. I then go from the Xbox to the TV. From the TV optical audio to an LG Soundbar.
Games and Apps (including xbox music) sound great, crystal clear. The only time I have the static/choppy problem is when I'm watching TV. So i naturally thought it was comcast. I replaced the HDMI cable and still got choppy sound. I then connected the
cable box straight to the tv and the static was gone. So I've narrowed the culprit to the Xbox. I have not changed anything as far as setup goes to trigger this problem, it was fine last week. There was an update (I'm in the early access program, not sure
if thats relevant or not) and now I notice this problem.

 

While writing the above comment I realized that I had access to the preview forums. I just went over there and read that this indeed is a problem with the latest update and they have a fix out already. Go into your Xbox One Settings and select system.
From there select system update/console update. See if that fixes your issue.

 

YOU RULE!!!!! Why didn't my xbox notify me that I had an update ready? Just downloaded it and it works fine now. thanks again. funny thing is I was looking under the system settings yesterday and there was no update, they must have updated it today

 

Thanks guys cause I was about ready to switch to playstation that choppy sound was bout *** me off , I been calling tech support since that up date came out

 

I also had this issue and was chating with xbox support for 3 hours in all and didn't fix any thing. I think my xbone has self updated over night so I was wondering if anyone can post a update version so I can make sure that is what it was. I don't think
I hear the static any more but I just woke up and dont feel like dealing with it. Other than that they were going to have me do a diagnostic on my Xbone. Thanks for the posts guys.
