Xbox One - TV from Sky App Not Working

I have been trying everyday, since the September update for the Xbox One, to open and use the TV from Sky app. What I get when I open the app is this: "Cannot connect to TV from Sky" "There's a problem connecting to TV from Sky. Try again in a few
minutes". I have tried restarting the console, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, checking the HDMI cord...I have no idea what else to do. I do have SkyGo Extra. I can view Sky perfectly on my laptop. I feel like the update messed something up, but that is
just a guess. Please help!

TV from Sky on Xbox One S?

I can't find TV from Sky on the app store - when I search for 'TV' or 'TV from Sky' or 'Sky Go' the app doesn't come up. It doesn't seem to be available in the app store at all - does anyone know why?

 

I'm having the same issue for the last two days. I'm getting the same error since the last update.

 

Same issue, since the latest preview update for me. Definately not a problem with my set up/cables or subscriptions. You will find that you are able to watch the Sky News channel, as it is unecrypted. The update has clearly broken the app's ability to check
your Sky subscription to see which channels should be available to you.

 

I've been having the same issue since the update. All other apps and games are working.

 

Me too, this is really annoying and it doesn't seem like anything is being done about it. its def an xbox issue as it works fine on my PS4

 

I reported in through the preview program "report an issue" did you guys do the same?

i havent been able to use sky either since 22nd

 

I just downloaded the new preview update and can confirm that the Sky App is still not working. Missing loads of football makes me sad

 

Yeah. I was hoping that they might've fixed it, but no luck. Also..the boxes next to the app/game icons on the dashboard are now black...not transparent anymore....wth? What are they even doing for the updates???

 

It's not just the Sky TV app, Now TV doesn't work either.

 

Seriously??!! Let's hope that they do an update to fix all of this. :/

 

No reply off Microsoft yet. Does it usually take this long?
