Xbox One TV and Xfinity X1

I have successfully set up my Xbox to watch TV through Comcast Xfinity X1. However, when I turn on my Xbox, I also have to restart (power down and on the front power button on the Xfinity box) in order to get a TV signal. I have to do this everytime in order
to get a TV signal. Anyone else have this problem or a remedy?

    :)

Xbox One losing TV signal - Comcast Xfinity X1

I have an Xfinity X1 and TV works great most of the time. I have been losing my TV signal once or twice a week from my Xfinity X1 though. Power cycling the Xbox (pulling cord) always fixes it. But it is a bit annoying!

I assume it has something to do with Comcast rebooting the X1 remotely... which seems to happen quite frequently, but not certain. Hopefully MS can fix this soon... my TV never had that issue when cabled directly... although I suppose my TV wasn't
in a low power state like the Xbox when off.

I know this is kind of a late response, but I have the exact same issue. It's been going on for a few months now. I had the fact that you can't send a signal out to shut down the box. Microsoft needs to look into this.

  5. Long are you talking about the cable box? You can set the xbox to turn off your TV and Cable box.

  6. Mine worked beautifully... never lost TV signal and never had any trouble. After this last monthly update, it's the exact opposite. Nothing but problems and never loads up TV properly. I got tired of constantly going through TV setup just to get the signal
    back. (using Xfinity also)

I think it's related to the Kinect believe it or not. 2 updates ago it started with me. Kinect was not taking voice commands, screen would black out or lock up, Signal lost, take for ever to switch channels. I unplugged my kinect for some reason and
it stopped as soon as I plugged it back in it started again. could be a coincidence too.
