Xbox One TurtleBeach Chat Adapter

Would you guys hurry the hell up already? Haven't played my Xbox in a month because it's ridiculously boring not being able to chat with your friends using your previous headset used with the Xbox 360. You guys screwed up big time and TurtleBeach has already
said that you guys stalled the production of the adapters for who knows why. Stop *** us over and release the adapters already so we can actually enjoy our system.

Turtle Beach Px5 and chat adapter

I dont have my Xbox one yet, but I thought I needed the stereo headset adapter to use with my Turtlebeach px5 for chat.

But i just learned that the consoles come with a normal chat adapter. Will the adpater that comes with the console work with turtlebeach px5 for chat purposes?

Very understandable OP if they did promise an adapter for turtle beach headsets they should allow it and roll it out asap.

 

I believe that you can use the headset for the in-game audio and use Kinect as the chat mic.

 

I believe people dont want to use Kinect as the chat mic. as its pants

 

Will it be included with the xo4? Also whats the price since I have 2 year old x12s It might be better for me to get xo4s.

 

come on we should have had xbox 360 games compatable to the xbox one games, and xbox 360 headsets compatable to the xbox one! microsoft u keep messing up no wonder bill gates left you.

 

Husane: Trying to make the new controllers and headsets work with older equipment is like putting a volkswagon starter motor in a new corvette. I might sound simple but the technologies are totally different. One system simply can't "talk" to the other.
Essentially, you'd need a 360 inside the box as well.

Sorry but I forget to add. For TB headsets to be eligible for the free adaptor, the offer is available for only the "xp400, xp500, xp 7 and x42.

 

Playstation had the headsets out at launch. Microsoft changed the chat adapter so they could make more money licensing it, but yet STILL do not have it available or even a release date for the adapter. Truly unacceptable.

That being said, the XBox One Turtle Beach headsets are to be released on February 15th if you want to shell out the money for a new headset.

Hopefully Microsoft will stop *** up. Xbox One is kind of a mess right now.

 

I just got a email and best buy said the release date is 12-31-14.

 

It seems there is no firm date as yet, but really guys, saying what a f*** up Microsoft is really doesn't help. All i can say is, I hope its soon

I disagree. It is fair to say Microsoft f*** up. I can honestly say without just being a whiner/complainer that I regret purchasing the XBOX One. I am mainly a COD player and it is so annoying to wear my nearly brand new XP510s over a Xbox's headset for
chat. I figured the new Xbox would support blue tooth hence supporting the bluetooth in the headset. Bluetooth is such a standard wireless feature anymore. In the end I learned my lesson and I will not be an early adopter next time.
