Xbox One Turns on randomly (scary)

Yeah I replied to that thread because it's My daughter that always has an invisible guest appear next to her lol.....it's quite freaky. The op of the other thread was picking up shadow figures with his kinect, plus other thing's that I can't remember now.

If anyone watches ghost adventure's? They use a kinect in their investigations with very interesting result's. It's a good watch even if your purely sceptical.

that happened to my twice last month and I have a cat maybe the cat touch the x bottom when it pass trough... then I disable the instant xbox on option. and never happened again.

My Kinect turned on by it self the other day and I had it turn off in settings too I think I was beening spy on

Turn it off at the wall. That's the way to make sure its off! Xbox 1 DOES do updates even when you've hit the Console Off button on the Dashboard. As for the Xbox 1 randomly recording some of your gameplay, there is an option to turn that off on the Dashboard
settings. I shutdown my console and when I go to play on my Xbox 360 because my TV has 4 HDMI ports and use on of them for 1 and the other for the 360 as don't want to use the HDMI in on the Xbox 1 console. And still when I play on my Xbox 360, I can hear
my Xbox 1 making noises. This is because it's in a low power state and conducts updates silently in the background. M doesn't make spyware otherwise they would land up in court.

There was a guy on here a month or two back, he was convinced his kinect was picking up ghost's. He bassically got laughed off the for forum...... He was deadly serious though.
