Xbox One Turns on for one second but shuts off instantly, and I already checked the ...

I know everyone has been having this problem, and I'm annoyed too because this happened to me last week. I've used every possible solution, I've checked the power supply, the actual xbox, the fan, the disk drive... which still has a game in there, direct
to wall outlet, different wall outlet, checked, double checked and triple checked all plugs. I even unplugged the whole system and waited for 2 days with no connections and nothing. the power brick is normal and changing when it turns on, the xbox does flash
when it comes on... but turns off. I've done everything... and now I have nothing. I already heard about many people who replaced it and had faulty consoles. Can someone actually help, like someone who actually designed the XBOX One? I've already seen enough
forums to know that nobody has a perfect foolproof answer. I'd Rather not have to buy a new Xbox to fix it

Power Supply

So i turn my xbox one and and it instantly turns off like the second the white xbox logo turns on it turns off and i need to some one to help me fix it is there anyone with any info on how to fix it ?

 

XBOX ONE won't boot up fully...

When hooking up my XBOX ONE (adding in HDMI, power supply plugged into the wall), turn it on, it loads the green XBOX ONE splash screen for about 15 seconds, and then it goes to a black screen… and sits there.. and sits there… and sits there. 20 mins later,
still black screen.

Turn on the controller and hit the guide (XBOX ONE button) and nothing responds. Still black screen.

So then I turn off the console from the front of the machine and it powers off. and when I turn it back on… BOOM. I'm brought to the dashboard INSTANTLY.

This only happens when I have to pack away my XBOX ONE and move it to a new location -- also did this when I purchased it.

Why won't this boot up normally? Why do I need to shut it down a second time in order to use any functionality with the XBOX ONE.

P.S. - I'm also in the preview program too.

I've checked out other posts -- people with the same issues, but no resolutions -- more like, this is a faulty console.

 

Hey there i understand you rather have official support look over your question but us volunteers know basically as much as they do. (Not everything of course but it gets the job done.) I see that you are having issues with boot up have you already gone
through initial setup download profile connect to the internet via Ethernet / WiFi? If so then let me know asap thanks.

As well as the router and modem you are using (Only if you get past initial setup)

 

@PurpleNurple thanks for the idea but I'm not certain that will work. I've already been connected with the wifi for about 4 years but that has nothing to do with the boot up sequence. and as far as i can tell nobody seems to know what the "quick flash on,
then instant off" means. there doesn't seem to be a clear answer.

Also when I was talking about official support i was just really disappointed by all of the failed attempts then then so i apologize to you and anyone else who felt offended by that. I'm fine with any solutions.

 

It's fine i asked for the router and modem if you are using TWC (Time Warner cable) there seems to be a bug restricting players to play Xbox it does similar things your experiencing (Console refusing to boot)

Lets try this it's going to be require a bit of speed since it instant shut down.

Launch the console as soon as you get a glimmer of light / power then hold the power button for 8 seconds and don't let go until it shuts down then unplug it from everything connected to it (Power supply, HDMI ETC) wait up to 5 minutes without interruption
and then attempt the boot up.

 

that seems to be the simple solution. I've tried that several times but no success. the light doesn't stay on for long enough. It's a near impossible window. I've seen various tutorials but this doesn't help if I can't even get the timing right
