    Xbox One turns on and off repeatedly


    Just wondering if anyone could help me. When i turn on my Xbox and start playing a game is shuts down but then it turns back on and when it gets to the boot up screen it keeps turning on and off over and over again (and im getting sick of hearing that bloody
    chime!!). It used to do it a while ago when Battlefield 1 came out but it stopped for a couple of months but now its started again and its worse than last time

    Any help would be appreciated Xbox One turns on and off repeatedly :)

    Xbox one repeatedly turns on and off...

    So far from the beginning it was great. Now my xbox is turning off and on at the same time its ejecting the disk when connected to power. I will get on, but seconds after it will shut off then go back and forth on and off.... while the eject button is singing
    along with it. Is there anyway to fix, i already unplugged my power for days or weeks, or let it cool, but continues to do it.

    No problem man, I had to do the same thing with similar devices on my Bedroom tv. Xbox One turns on and off repeatedly :)

    Hi,

    This helped. After sitting down this weekend with the remote, I was able to add a delay after shutting down the XBone then turning off the receiver. So far so good, thanks Ghostly.

    Program your harmony to send the off command to the xbox first, then to the tv and lastly the av recievr. you should be able to customize the order of operations on the my harmony website.

    I haven't had that problem with my sony av receiver.

    May want to check if there is a firmware update for the receiver as well. http://firmware.denon.eu/index.php

    Looks like it was a hardware issue the whole time. I exchanged my Kinect for another one at Gamestop and this one seems to be working fine. I streamed for several hours today and it stayed on the whole time.
