XBOX One turns on and is connected, but not working

So I turned on my XBOX and off to the right it says "Trouble Connecting. It might be a problem on our side."

However - no games will work, voice commands don't work, and there is minimal functionality.

I looked for any service alerts but there aren't any. Any help?

Xbox One Controller not turning on

My Xbox One controller randomly stopped working, I used it to turn off the Xbox and I came back 2-3 hours later and held down the Xbox Button on the controller to turn it on and absolutely nothing happened, I've replaced the batteries twice to see if it
was that but its not, I've connected it to the Xbox through a cable and nothing is working. All the other buttons on the controller work fine theres nothing wrong with them its just that the controller itself just will not turn on.

Try updating controller again and then do hard reset or vice versa

I'm sorry to see you are experiencing these problems. If you can please clear the system Cache: Hold the power Button for 8-10 Second's till system shuts down. After that please re-boot the system and Test all the Connections. Including, network, Multiplayer
and etc.. Please reset you're router and wait about 5min. Once then try to re-establish a connection. You may also, look at each error here:

support.xbox.com/.../networking Also, since you Voice commands are not working, please re-run the Kinect Setup. You can do this at: Settings, and Kinect. Please then follow the onscreen instructions. For more information:

As of now their is a service alert. This may be causing the connection error:

So the service alert left but I am still not able to connect to Live. Won't even give me the option to play games.

 

Just followed the steps you gave and still the same issue.

Okay well I reset my router and it now says there are no problems with my multiplayer connection, but I am still unable to connect to XBOX Live.

 

I'm having the same problem!! Your not the only one man D: i'm connected but also not connected! I can't access multiplayer, youtube, or netflix!! seriously wtf is going on?!

Okay well after 2 hours with one of the most useless XBOX support people I am finally going to need to send it in. If they ever tell you to delete your profile with this issue, do not do it.

After deleting my profile I went to redownload it. Anytime I went to enter in text to a field my XBOX would freeze up and shut down. I tried to do another text field... same thing. So now I have an XBOX that just shuts down when I try to sign in and won't
connect to XBOX Live. It just has a button on the right that says it is microsofts fault and they are working on it which is BS.
