Xbox one turns off wrong tv.

When I first got my xbox one I had it plugged into my old Sony Bravia tv. Since then the hdmi ports in the Bravia stopped working and I swapped it with my Logik tv that I use for my desktop pc situated the opposite side of my bedroom.

Since the swap, whenever I turn my xbox one on or off it turns my Sony Bravia on and off all the way from the other side of the room.

Any idea how to stop it doing so and even get it control the tv that's actually connected to it?

Neither the tvs are smart tvs or particularly hightec, they're both 32inch. I'm sure there isn't settings in the tvs software to make these changes.

So if I'm watch tv without the xbox one on and decide to turn it on, my tv shuts off. Same with if my tv is already off and I turn off my xbox one the tv turns on. Any idea what I'm doing wrong or where I could find the settings to fix this annoying but
very minor problem?

Now I might be wrong because when I tell my Xbox to turn off it turns my tv off also and I never check if the tv is still coming through but I doubt it is.

 

Since posting this thread I have discovered the tv remote settings on my xbox one and have removed my Sony Bravia from it. I can't set up my Logik tv because the xbox one can't find it during the set up quite, unfortunately.

For those with similar problems and are wondering where the tv remote set up is:

Settings>Display & Sound > Volume > Set up TV/AV control.

 

You'll have to re-enter the info again for the monitor that your using now. Do the same setup you did when you entered the info for your Sony Bravia tv. Just enter the monitor info now
