    Xbox one turns off within seconds of turning it on.


    Our Xbox one recently started faulting. When you turn it on you hear the hard drive spin up but within seconds it turns straight back off again. Power supply light is working normal.

    I read somewhere to get a hair dryer and blow hot air into the vents which bizarrely worked straight away! However it's done this now 3 times within a few weeks. The Xbox is cold so isn't an overheating issue. I've had the cover off and blown compressed
    air through.

    It's working okay again at the minute but I'm sure it will happen again within a few days. Any ideas?

    I'd recommend getting the console looked at professionally/getting it serviced by Microsoft. If you have an actual brick and mortar Microsoft store near you take it there...if not get online a see about scheduling a repair. I've personally never had to
    get mine repaired but I've had to help a friend get it sent off before because he wasn't sure what to do about a similar issue. Be careful about "fixing" things yourself. The consoles have warranties for a reason, man! Just get it looked at is the bottom line...self
    fixing isn't a thing you should ever do because it might break it even more.
