Xbox One turns off DURING initial set-up!

This is my first Xbox EVER, and my first console since Wii.

I was so very excited but my xbox keeps turning off before I can even see the sign in screen.

I get to the screen that says I need to sign in first, then I select next, it goes blank for a few seconds, the controller turns off and then soon after so does the console.

Please help ahhh.

I'm having the same issue. My xbox one won't download the initial update during set up

I don't think the other people who replied understand what you are asking because I'm having the same problem. My brand new Xbox One S is going to sleep/turning off DURING the straight out the box initial set up update. Not AFTER it's fully downloaded the
update and it auto restarts. And when I turn the Xbox one back on, the initial set up update starts over. You can't get to the settings yet to set it to download even when the console is off/sleep because it can't get past the initial set up update. Nobody
has time to sit in front of the TV for hours, wiggling the controller sticks every 5 mins to keep the controller/Console from going to sleep partially through the Initial setup update and having to start over. It's been 3 days and I haven't been able to play
one single game yet on my new Xbox One S. Is there any way to prevent this?

 

It gave me

"System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support."

Along with this code:

E200 00000116 00000000

 

I am getting the same error. I pluged it in and turned it on, i get a start up screen and the it goes right to the system error: E200 00000116 00000000.

Please help my son saved up for over 8 months to get this today and he is devistated.

Has there been a solution to this error code. After a long trip I returned home and I was prompted to update my software. After the update I am now receiving the same error code and my system is inoperable. How can an update destroy my XBOXONE? This s unacceptable!!!
