Xbox one turns off as if on/off button has been pressed

My xbox is well ventilated. It's the forza console, so it makes a car noise when you press the on/off button. I can turn it on with either the controller, inserting a disk, or the button itself, and within a minute the car sound will play again as
if I have pressed the on/off button an it shuts down. Also if left unchecked it will sometimes make the noise by itself while it is off, but not always turn on. This happened last month and I just turned it on one day and it worked fine, and has consistently
for the last two weeks, but has started again. Has this happened to anyone else?

According to
this article, the Xbox One may unexpectedly shut down if:

• You have a setting in the system power-saving settings for it to turn off automatically.
  
• The console is overheating.
• The power supply brick is becoming faulty.

Let's first disable the auto-off setting (see Solution #3 in the article) to make sure the system isn't shutting down on you while you're playing. Could be a fluke or bug in that setting that's messing with your console's power all willy-nilly, who knows?

If it is well-ventilated as you say, see if you can clean dust off the console that might be blocking the cooling vents. Otherwise, we can rule out overheating.

If it's still shutting down, then chances are the power supply is going faulty on you. You will have to
request a repair.
