Xbox one turns itself on without doing anything

i would like to know this aswell its happening to me too

now my xbox started this from today

For some reason my console keeps turning off by itself. It will start playing a game and then all of a sudden it turns off. Happens everytime I try to do anything. One time it even happen when I wasn't doing anything.

Thank you for the feedback so far, unfortunately I wish it was a simple matter as this. I don't have any fluorescent tubes or lights near the xbox and the only lights in the room are halogen.

In response to cRaZyLIZARD76 - the problem I am having isn't when I turn it on, but that it keeps turning on itself without me physically doing anything.

I’ve tried these steps already but they don’t seem to be exactly what is wrong with my console.

It turns on without fail every time, it just switches itself off when I try to do anything

In case the issue still persist, the best thing to do is to send it for a service.
I totally understand that you are having issues with the console. No worries, I have here the link to request a service for your console, make sure to register it first:
https://account.microsoft.com/devices
Once registered, click show details then Start a service online.
