    Xbox One Turning On


    For some reason my new Xbox One keeps on randomly turning itself on. I have the power saver mode turned on and power it off completely when i turn it off. No Kinect, so that isn't an issue. Is my console haunted???

    I have been having a few problems with my one: -Turns on, but does not show on tv -Turns on, then shuts off -Turns on and freezes on start up logo - Will not turn on by controller button

    Xbox one turning on

    so today while I was at work my Xbox turned on by itself not sure why it would do this I have never had the issue before, I don't have a Kinect, and I have it set to power save mode so the only way it should turn on is if I manually do it with either my
    controller or the button on the Xbox.. any advice on how I can fix this or why it would be doing this would be appreciated.

    I don't think haunting is covered by the warranty Xbox One Turning On :)

    First, try holding the logo on the front of your console until your console shuts down and unplug everything from the back for 5 minutes. Plug it back in and see if you notice this happening again

    I usually power it down via holding down the X on the controller and choosing Turn Off System (or whatever, sorry the verbiage isn't in front of me now). I've done the unplugging thing and it still turns itself on randomly. Will try the logo hold trick.
    Maybe that will work. Stay tuned...

    Is this something that will get patched out via an update or is this something to be expected as an Xbox One owner?

    first i must say i am not really good at English so excuse me for my mistakes.

    my console is in energy saving mode

    this is what i am done:

    i test my xbox temreture and it was good, i Reset my (for about four times!) power supply, i Check the status of your power supply unit,my xbox is Pluged power supply directly into a wall outlet and then i do this thing"Change the console settings so it

    I'm going through the same thing. Took the console to GameStop, where they had power supply I could hook up to.

    Same issue, orange light, flashes white for a second then back to orange. Console will not power on...

    For me it's not the power supply...

    It could be either actually, but sounds like a power brick issue honestly.If you have a friend or family member with an Xbox One, I would take my Xbox to test there. That would immediately tell you where the issue is.
