Xbox one turning off randomly

Hey so yeah as the title says, my Xbox one is randomly turning off after playing a game for 5-15 minutes with no error it just shuts off. I checked both the console and the power supply, both of them are never hot and my console is in a good spot with a
lot of fan space, it's also plugged into a wall. I don't know why this happens it doesn't make sense everything is fine, this started happening months ago btw I left the Xbox unplayed for months and I came back to it, still turned off but somehow I don't know
why but yesterday I put it on to download a game a got before it broke just to try it out for a couple of minutes, it took me about an hour on the menu untill it was ready to play (it never shuts off in the menu only in games) and I tried the game out, it
didn't turn off at all I played the game for 1 hour and even played split screen with my brother and I turned it off because we were done playing it didn't even turn itself off, but now I try it today and it turns off like it always did.. I don't know why
it worked yesterday

Forgot to mention that it worked about 3 days ago too I played some gta 5... Sometimes (rarely)it works but most of the time it doesn't...

Sorry to hear you are having a issue.

Please try these solutions:

• Go to Settings-->>Disc & Blu-Ray-->>Persistent Storage-->>Clear persistent storage
  
• Hold the Power Button on the Console while it is on for 10 seconds it should turn off. Once it turns off unplug it from the wall and from the back of the console for 3 minutes.
  
• If the console is set to Instant-On mode, try changing it to Energy-saving mode using the steps at

Thanks firestorm that worked! I already did the last two methods so I guess the Blu Ray storage thing worked

 

Unfortunately, it turns out it was a temporarely solution because it stopped working again >.>

 

Here are some instructions I found on clearing the persistent storage. Notice is says to clear it 3 times.

Press the Menu button > Settings > Blu Ray & Disc > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage THREE times.

Follow these steps to power cycle your Xbox One Console: 1. While the console is on, press and hold the console's Xbox button for 5 seconds.

i too am having this issue...what i do notice is my power supply light is orange and not white.

An orange light would indicate your console is fully powered down. Be sure your Xbox One is plugged directly into a wall outlet rather than plugged into a power strip, If you have any USB devices plugged in, also remove those to see if there's any change.
