Xbox One turning off/on Xbox 360 when not connected.

I used to have my 360 plugged into the HDMI IN of the Xbox One but added a second TV to my gaming room. Now the consoles are no way connected using 2 different TV's via HDMI. Whenever I have both consoles on and turn off my Xbox One the 360 turns off as
well. Sometimes the 360 will turn on as well when powering off the Xbox one. Does anyone know how this is possible?

    :)

Xbox One not turning on/off Xbox 360 connected through HDMI

    Hi.

I am experiencing an issue were the Xbox One is unable to turn a connected Xbox 360 on or off with the rest of my setup. Other devices including the TV and AV Receiver work fine, but the Xbox 360 does not. I am using the Xbox 360 as a Media Center Extender
(on FiOS) instead of a Set-Top Box.

    Here is Setup:

Xbox 360 =HDMI> Xbox One =HDMI> Yamaha Aventage RX-A820 =HDMI> Samsung Plasma TV

Everything is configured in the TV Power settings on the X1.

Xbox One, Yamaha AV, and Samsung TV all turn on/off correctly. Xbox 360 needs to be manually turned on and off, however commands to control TV work just fine after it is on. Is this a known issue or is there something else that needs to be done so the 360
    will also power on/off correctly?

    Thanks.

Are you sure it's the 360 console turning on/off and not just the TV? If it's the TV, it's probable that the IR blasting that your Xbox One is doing to turn off its connected TV is also reaching the second TV and turning that one on and off.

Thank you for your answer but I am certain it is the 360, I have both units in view and see the green led shut off then my TV displays a "No Signal" Looking through my One settings I found the 360 was still on the list of "cable boxes." When removed the
    problem no longer occurred.

Even though the 2 Xbox's were not physically connected the IR blaster of the Xbox One still cut off the 360 with that setting on. Interesting.

Help Please !!! Share Xbox Live with Xbox 360 and One

Is the problem simply the 360 connecting to Live, or your profile logging in?

When your 360 is trying to connect, is the One also turned on?

Try turning the One off* and see if the 360 will connect to Xbox Live.

It could be a network error where the two consoles are causing conflicts with each other.

    ~

*To turn the One off completely (not just into Instant On, where it might still have an active Internet connection), press the Xbox logo on the front for about five seconds and the light on the power supply should change to orange. Now unplug it from the
    wall.

    ~

Let us know if this works or not.

    Controllers not syncing to console.

Hi. All suggestions are for xbox one controllers. I have an xbox 360. Though I have still tried these suggestions and still not connecting. When then console is turned off i can turn the console back on with the controller but the xbox light still keeps flashing and not connecting. Any more suggestions would be muchly appreciated. Thank you.
