    Xbox one turning off after 10 seconds


    My Xbox One keeps on turning off after 10 seconds of turning it on. The light goes white when i plog it in then it turns orange and when the xbox turns off the light goes off too. I need a solution asap please.

    • Hold the power button for 10 seconds
    • The Xbox One should turn off after the 10 seconds, if it has you can then turn it back on
    • Check and see if the disc is now being recognized or if the game is in the ready to install list

    I´ve just done a hard reset, this works fine for me.

    To hard reset the xbox one press and hold the turn-off-Button for 10 seconds. The Xbox turns off. Hold the button at least ten seconds!

    After restarting the xbox, the problem was fixed.

    You can turn off your xbox by pressing the power button for 10 seconds and after a moment turn it on.

    I would suggest a power cycle. Perform one by pressing the power button for 10 seconds until the console turns off and then unplug the cord for 10 seconds as well. After that plug it back in.
