Xbox One turning itself on. But not quite.

I will come home and my Xbox one will already be on. Just the xbox not the kinect. When I turn the tv on the only thing displayed is the notification picture that is on the top far left of the menu. does not respond to the controller or even the power button.
I have to hold the power button down and it will turn off and then work normally.. This has happened to me twice and only since I bought Titanfall. Please update. This is not good at all.

Xbox One Turning Itself On

Hello, I have seen this same issue in some other threads but I am now experiencing it myself. My Xbox One will not stop powering itself on after I have shut it off. It doesn't turn my tv on, and I do not have a Kinect set up. Ever since the new home update,
I have had nothing but issue after issue. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Xbox one, turning itself on....

For the last week or so my Xbox One is randomly turning itself on... Controllers aren't on, Kinect is disabled, energy saver is enabled, updates are disabled... No my pets aren't near it, no I don't have kids, yes I turned it OFF. This seems to be a rather
common complaint without an answer...

Oh, it's also not connected to any PC in the house through the app.... Nor is it even on the same network.

Nothing is passing through the HDMI, it's not setup to control power of anything else, nor is anything else configured to control it.

Ghosts? Lets be real... Last Xbox system? Possibly.

It is possible that the xbox is causing the problem by not turning off all the way too as I wouldn't notice it after pressing the button and leaving.

I had this happen were I came into the room and the fan was on, I hit the power button and turned the tv on seen that little picture your talking about and noticed the power button on the console was just coming on and off on and off. Its only did this once
just the other day and I have had it since launch, preaty weird but I have seen a few posting about it now so maybe its just a software problem and not a prob with the actual console

Never happened before the update or Titanfall. .. Just turned on consol and their is a update. Maybe a fix.

try to clean the front panel - power and eject areas with damp soft tissue, also make sure it is not close to things that can cause interference, like if console is next cell phone , house phone, audio receiver, etc, make sure it has some distance between
console and other electronics. Also maybe move console and see if the same thing happens. ,

Hey ImWatchinYou69! Is the console plugged directly in to a wall outlet? Are you using Energy-Saver mode or Instant-On? When the console turns on, do you hear the chime from the console as well? Post back and let us know!
