XBox One Turning Itself Off After a Few Seconds

So, bit of an oddball question, given what I've read so far. I've had my XBox One shelved for about a year now, and I finally decided to dust it off and run it. It worked fine and had two major firmware updates, but the second one paused at the "Verifying Update" step at 69%. It was stuck like this for a few hours, so I decided to power it off. After about an hour of waiting for it to shut down, I force-closed it by holding the power button. Now, every time I try to turn it on, no matter what common solutions I've tried (holding the power button, unplugging all USB devices, power supply, HDMI cable, unplugging the power supply from the wall and waiting for the light to shut off, holding sync, eject, and power buttons for several seconds to attempt factory reset, plug the power supply directly into the wall socket), all it does is power on, stay on for about 10-20 seconds, doesn't give any sort of picture or sound to the TV, then powers itself off. I have literally no idea what to do. Any help? Have I just bricked it?

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm afraid it's not really recommended to turn off the console if it's in the middle of update. If you already tried a different tv and hdmi cable and the issue still persist, I'm afraid the console needs a service. I suggest to keep trying this step as well.

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you should see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Follow-up question, then. How do I get it serviced? Entirely my fault, considering I have waited days for updates in the past and merely lost patience this time around, so since the factory reset option isn't working, who might I talk to or how might I get it sent in to get fixed, and how much might that cost?

another thing I forgot to tell you is that sometimes it turns on by itself just a few seconds after turning it off.
