Xbox One Turning Itself Back On

XBox support, please tell me whether you are aware of the following problem, or if I have a defective unit and need to send for a replacement. When I turn my console off, ten seconds later the white logo on the console will turn itself on. My kinect is
broken, so it is not plugged in. Black screen on tv, but TV does say "1080p", as if it is picking up the xbox.

Any reason why it is turning itself back on? Is this problem being addressed? Thanks

Also, anyone else experience this problem?

Xbox One Turning Itself On

Hello, I have seen this same issue in some other threads but I am now experiencing it myself. My Xbox One will not stop powering itself on after I have shut it off. It doesn't turn my tv on, and I do not have a Kinect set up. Ever since the new home update,
I have had nothing but issue after issue. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Xbox one, turning itself on....

For the last week or so my Xbox One is randomly turning itself on... Controllers aren't on, Kinect is disabled, energy saver is enabled, updates are disabled... No my pets aren't near it, no I don't have kids, yes I turned it OFF. This seems to be a rather
common complaint without an answer...

Oh, it's also not connected to any PC in the house through the app.... Nor is it even on the same network.

Nothing is passing through the HDMI, it's not setup to control power of anything else, nor is anything else configured to control it.

Ghosts? Lets be real... Last Xbox system? Possibly.

Turn off cloud storage for saved games

There are two options to turn off cloud storage for game saves:

1. Move saved games out of the cloud and turn off cloud saves

First, you need to move your game saves out of the cloud. See Copy, move, or delete content for steps on how to move content from one storage device to another (for
example, from Cloud Saved Games to Hard Drive).

Once you've done this, you can turn off cloud storage. Here’s how:

From the Xbox 360 Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage.
Highlight Cloud Saved Games, and then press Y.
Select Disable Cloud Saved Games.

2. Keep saved games in the cloud and turn off cloud saves

You can turn off cloud storage for a single console and keep your saved games in the cloud for you to use on another console. Here’s how:

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.
Select System Items, and then select Cloud Storage Console Copy.
Select Delete.

Note You will be asked to confirm that you want your saved games to remain in the cloud, and future updates to your saved games will not be synced with this console.

Reddit is saying some Scorpio editions have the power cable go out. Some is cable some are not. My Scorpio just died. I don't have another cable so I will have to buy one to see if that is the problem.

If folk remember, there was a power cable issue with the original Xbox, MS supplied a new power cable free of charge.
