Xbox One - turned off by itself and screen problems

Hey guys,

I turned on my XB today to find that the screen was wavy and the image was tripled (hard to describe but I have a video of this).

I turned it off and after a while turned it back on again only for it to turn itself off.

Have never had this problem with any console before so I just don't know what it could be - any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

brand new xbox out of box turns off then just turns it self off any ideas

please help brand new xbox out of the box

all set up have turned it on and the xbox one screen comes up then just turns itself off

Xbox one stuck on black screen (no error code)

My xbox one is stuck on a black screen after the green loading screen and no error code has appeared then it turned itself off after afew minutes. Can anyone help me out?

Try resetting the video. While off, "Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.

I had this problem as well, and found a relatively easy solution, but can't promise it will work. All I did was turn on the Xbox (Then off and back on again to get the screen bright), and then let the Xbox sit until the controller turned itself off, and
the screen dimmed. Once you turn the controller back on, it will brighten once again, and from then on, I had no issues with the screen remaining dim when I turned the Xbox on.

I had this problem aswell. I shut off my xbox one... un installed the smartglass app. Turned on my xbox... reinstalled the smartglass app... reconnected it... then started dr3... went to the map screen.. then started up the companion app.. and it fixed itself.

I'm bumping this up because my Xbox One just started doing this yesterday. We turn it off, it turns itself back on within an hour. The screen is dimmed and won't light up even when we use a controller. Auto-sign-in is off as is the ability to turn on the
Xbox using Kinect.
