    I have the 1TB Call of Duty model XboxOne,. I have noticed the last two nights, I am in my room watching TV and the Xbox just turns itself on out of nowhere. It has been off for hours, and just turned on. It is plugged into the wall and there are no other
    items plugged into it. I have had it for about a year now and never noticed this before. I am especially concerned because this is in a closed cabinet, its open whenever I use the console, but if I am travelling it would be closed.

    Hey BiggishTitan512! Do you have your console set to Power-Saver or Instant-On mode? Additionally, does the console make a chime sound and fully turn on display or does it appear to only be installing updates? Post back and let us know!

    Xbox Turing on by itself

    My Xbox one has been turning on by itself quite frequently. It first started like 4 months ago. Last night when I was sleeping it turned on twice and today it turned on around noon. I tried resetting it by holding the start button for 30 seconds but the
    problem is still happening. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything I can do?

    Hey there Bic BladePriest.

    Do you have your console set to Instant On or Power Saving? If you have it set to Instant On, please give your Xbox One a full power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds to see if that helps.

    Hi,

    A couple options I'd like to suggest is this, monitor the console to see if the problem repeats itself or alternatively you can call Support to consider having it sent in but with that being said, you mentioned the console was recently purchased so you may
    want to check with the retailer you purchased it from to see if it can be returned. If you purchased an extended warranty, that may also cover this issue giving you the added option of returning it with much ease.
