Xbox One Tritton Headset Problem

Hello , First excuse me for my bad English

So here is my problem , I have the Tritton Pro+ headset and I have two buttons to set the sound level but only the one to set the voices levels of my friends work so when I want to turn up the game or my friend's voice volume it turns all volumes up, and
because most games volumes are higher than my chat volume I can not hear my fiends or barely , I have the adapter , it's plugged in nicely or I could not hear them through out my headset , I have both USB ans optical cables plugged in as well but I can not
find the problem , I have notice that on my Xbox 360 there is a green light on the headset's central unite , and it is not when I plug it to my One , and when i plug it to my 360 it only does this when it is not correctly plugged . If any one has a solution
or and Idea please submit it down below .
