Xbox One Touch Sensors Activating Themselves

My Xbox One has been turning itself on, then, a few minutes after starting up (with somewhat random timing), it dings, as though trying to eject a disc (there is no disc, btw) then, after a few seconds, turns itself off. It does the same thing when I start
it up manually.

If I clear persistent storage 3x and do a power cycle, then it will stop, but after being shut down for awhile, it will start doing it again.

I have tried wiping the front of the xbox where the sensors are, to no effect.

I have the xbox set to energy saving mode, turned off auto updates for both the system and games and apps, and turned off the "turn off automatically after 'X' time" option.

I've unplugged my controller (it's corded) and deleted the xbox app from my phone (in case it was a app bug running in the background).

It seems like it may be a power supply issue, and I have a spare power supply somewhere, but I'm not sure where it is and would like to eliminate as many other causes as possible before I tear things apart looking for it. So, on that note, any suggestions?

It could also be a static build up and discharge. Make sure all the rubber feet are on the bottom.

Not using the xbox app anymore, deleting it from my phone was one of the first solutions I tried.

Found the other power supply and have it plugged in to that. Seems to have fixed the issue, but only time will tell for sure.

Try to delete the xbox beta app or turn off remote only in settings

I didn't know a surge protector could cause it, that'll be something to keep in mind in the future, but no, my xbox is currently plugged directly in to the wall. I did try blowing in out with a can of air, but I may have to actually take it apart and clean
it. But that's a project for another day, I suppose I'll just have to dig out the other power supply and see if that solves the problem.
